So why do most people like Valentine's Day? You get sad if your significant other doesn't give you something. You get lonely if you see the couples around town. You get happy when you see your lover--in the freezer, waiting faithfully for you next to the frozen peas. Ice cream.

It's the hope that keeps us loving this holiday. Though you're sure that no one in their right mind would dare approach you asking to be your valentine, you have this tiny piece of hope inside you...wanting to eat your soul out and barf it out on your shoes.
